Deceived: Exposing Satan’s Lies to the Church – Now Available

Deceived Cover 16by9 scaled

After years of study and months of writing, proof reading, and editing, I’m excited to announce that Deceived: Exposing Satan’s Lies to the Church is now available for purchase on Amazon.

This book is a call to examine the traditions and practices we’ve inherited in the modern church. Not to tear down, but to build up. Not from cynicism, but from love. We’ve often accepted assumptions that crept in gradually over centuries, treating them as biblical truth when Scripture itself says something different.

Deceived challenges Christians to return to Scripture and reconsider what we’ve been taught about worship, church leadership, Satan himself, and more. My prayer is that it will spark conversations, deepen understanding, and ultimately draw us all closer to Christ.

How to Get the Book:

  • Purchase on AmazonAvailable now in paperback (click here)!
  • Pre-ordered a copy? – If you pre-ordered directly from me, your copy should ship the last week of January (I’m receiving inventory on January 20th).
  • Read Free Online – Starting in February, I’ll start publishing a chapter here on deceivedbook.com on the first Sunday of every month. You can read the entire book for free over time, or grab a physical copy to read at your own pace.
  • Audio/Podcast Coming – I’m also recording an audio version, which I plan on releasing on Audible. But also releasing each chapter as an episode of a podcast, maybe even with some additional commentary.

Why I Wrote This Book!

Since my conversion in 2003, I’ve been passionate about understanding Scripture deeply and accurately. What began as personal study became a conviction: the church needs to continually examine itself against the Scriptures, not human tradition. This book is the fruit of that conviction.

If you’ve ever wondered whether certain church practices are actually biblical, or if you’ve sensed something is “off” but couldn’t quite put your finger on it, this book is for you.

What’s Next

I’ll be sharing more here as chapters release, and I’d love to hear your thoughts as you read. This is just the beginning of a conversation I hope will continue in churches, homes, and hearts.

Thank you for your support and prayers throughout this process.

Godspeed.
Lew Ayotte
